Element CR a reçu le prix de la fondation Theodor – Rogler Bad Reichenhall en 2014.
Le compositeur suisse Mario Bürki a dédié son Double Concerto pour deux violoncelles et orchestre à vent au Celloduo Element CR. Il a été créé au festival de la musique du magazine Jungfrau en juillet 2014 en coopération avec Swiss Army Play. L’œuvre « Chroma » est composée de quatre mouvements, chacun dédié à une couleur pouvant provenir d´un composé de chrome (CR).
