In 2014, Element CR was awarded the prize of the Theodor Rogler Foundation, Bad Reichenhall.
The successful and award-winning Swiss composer Mario Bürki dedicated his Double Concerto for Two cellos and Wind Orchestra to the Element CR cello duo. It premiered in July 2014 at the Swiss Army Games at the Jungfrau Music Festival. The work “Chroma” consists of four sets, each dedicated to a color that can be made up from chrome compounds (CR).
